 The Melia Golf Vichy Catalan (open April 2006) is located in the heart of the PGA Golf de Catalunya, alongside Caldes de Malavella, a spa resort on the Costa Brava in northeast Spain. Although modern in design, decorated in warm and welcoming colours and employing superior quality materials, the hotel is superbly integrated in its natural environment and combines perfectly with the two golf courses in the resort. Nearby guests can visit Girona with the Arab baths, the Jewish Quarter and the cathedral. There is a range of sports & leisure facilities such as an outdoor swimming pool & one for children, as well as a golf course PGA Golf de Catalonia built in 1999 and designed by Neil Coles and Angel Gallardo offering a club house, a golf pro shop, driving range, pitching & putting green: 36-holes, par 72 and handicap of 36 minimum required. For great moments of relaxing and reviving there is also a spa with fitness room, dry and wet saunas, rectangular Jacuzzi with two separate areas, sensation shower, ice fountain, massage booths and Vichy showers. |
